Adriatic gems cruise from Split

During breakfast, the journey continues towards the Krka National Park (entrance fee 15 - 27 EUR per person to be paid on the spot). Discover the wildlife of the Krka National Park, hiking through the many waterfalls and collecting water to bathe in the moss. Lunch on board with spectacular views of the Krka Canyon as we sail by on the way toward Sibenik. Free afternoon to explore this historic town. Visit the Foscolo Palace, built in the 14th Century in Gothic style. The Church of St Lawrence is in Baroque style while the Castle is above the town centre. Overnight in the popular resort of Vodice, a lively place, especially in the high season. Today, we are visiting the Kornati National Park. This park is actually made up of 100 islands and reefs. The most amazing thing about visiting the Kornati national park is seeing inlets descend steeply into the sea, somewhere even a hundred meters deep. The islands are rich in fish and cultural and historical remains that have been left over. Overnight on Dugi Otok (Long Island).

The morning is reserved for swimming. In the afternoon, you depart towards Zadar, where you join a guided tour of the city. Zadar is a city on the Adriatic Sea coast in the extreme northwest of Croatia, at a prominent transport crossroads where important overland routes intersect. There are many more sights to see in this very diverse city. Some of the best include the Roman Forum and Land Gate, St Donatus Church, and St Ankusa Island. From historical to contemporary places, visit the famous Zadar Sea Organ and "The Greeting to the Sun" light installation, both spectacular. Overnight in Zadar.

After breakfast, the cruise resumes south along the Dalmatian coast. Our cruise to the island of Zlarin includes visiting a nearby bay, where you can swim before reaching your destination. This lovely car-free island in summer welcomes around 3,000 tourists and is home to one of Croatia's few coral-based farms. Coral farming dates back to the 15th Century and is enjoying a slow revival on this beautiful and untouched Croatian island. You may see coral items on sale from local artisans. Departure after breakfast and a swimming stop in one of the tranquil bays to enjoy incredibly clear seawater, enjoying nature's calm and genuine beauty. After lunch, cruise to the old Dalmatian town of Trogir. Trogir is sometimes referred to as a "miniature Venice" or a "mini Dubrovnik" because of its ancient walls and scenic location on the Adriatic coast. Its streets are filled with Venetian palaces, churches, bars and cafes. Get up close and personal during a guided tour with a local guide. Overnight in Trogir.

As the vessel sails back to the Split Riviera today, those who enjoy swimming will have plenty of reasons for happiness. Swim stop in one of the bays on Ciovo island (connected to Trogir by a bridge). In the afternoon, you'll visit one of the most beautiful ports in the Mediterranean area. You will be charmed by Split's historical centre, a UNESCO heritage site. Diocletian's Palace is an impressive example of Roman architecture full of stunning treasures such as the Golden Gate. Another attraction is the Temple of Jupiter and its mosaic floor, built when Christianity was gaining ground in Dalmatia.
