Because of your ship's small size, you will anchor right outside Dubrovnik's famous city walls. Take a short boat ride to the shore and step directly into the Old Town, a car-free UNESCO site full of history. Walk the marble streets and take photos of the stunning historic buildings. Before you leave, try to find the hidden cliffside cafés, where you can watch locals jump into the clear blue sea.

Sailing into Kotor offers breathtaking views of a fjord-like bay. Soon, the bright red rooftops of the medieval Old Town appear. This entire area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For a fantastic view of the sea and mountains, you can walk up the path to the ancient fortress high above the town.

Monopoli is a charming coastal town where many sites are within an easy walk. Start at the colorful street market and head toward the impressive cathedral, which features a very tall bell tower. Walk along the seafront promenade to see the Charles V Castle, built in 1552. The small harbor is full of brightly colored boats and local fishermen working on their nets.

Start your day in Pomena, a peaceful harbor village on Mljet Island. Surrounded by clear water and pine forests, it is a quiet gateway to Mljet National Park and its famous saltwater lakes. Walk through the historic streets, visit the supposed home of Marco Polo, and end the day with a glass of local white wine.
