Lerici sits on the beautiful Ligurian coast, known as the Gulf of Poets. This peaceful seaside town once inspired writers such as Percy Bysshe Shelley and Lord Byron. Visit nearby fishing villages like Tellaro or San Terenzo, where colourful houses, local restaurants and sea views capture the spirit of Italy’s coastline.

Portoferraio, the main port of Elba, is famous as the place of Napoleon’s exile. Visit his villa and imagine the Emperor watching the ships in the harbour, dreaming of France. Discover Elba’s history through its fortresses and ancient ruins, or visit a local vineyard for a taste of island life.

The southern tip of Corsica reveals two of the island’s most striking sights. At Sant’Amanza Beach, soft white sand meets clear turquoise water surrounded by limestone cliffs and granite rocks.
