Rome is a city where ancient history meets modern life. Before boarding your ship, you can visit the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica. Walk past cafes and shops to see ancient ruins like the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus. Be sure to visit the Trevi Fountain and toss a coin to ensure you return to this beautiful city.

As you cruise through the Mediterranean, you will pass by Stromboli, an active volcano island. Depending on weather conditions, you might see the volcano releasing smoke during the day or glowing lava flowing down its sides at night.

Trapani offers a mix of ancient and modern sights. See the ancient salt marshes with their 17th-century windmills still standing today. From this port, you can visit Agrigento, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for having some of the best ancient ruins in the Mediterranean. Walk along the ridge looking over the sea to see Greek temples from the 5th and 6th centuries B.C.
