Royal Clipper is a truly special ship. With five tall masts and full sails, it holds the Guinness World Record as the largest sailing ship of its kind. Even though it looks big and majestic, life on board feels personal and peaceful, more like a private yacht than a big cruise ship. Natural light fills the ship through a beautiful three-level atrium, and hidden balconies at the front let you enjoy the sea breeze and views as the ship sails quietly through the water.
Outdoor Life & Social Areas
Relax on the expansive wooden decks or lie on the net at the front of the ship, where you can watch the sea rushing below. The top deck features three small pools, including one with a glass bottom located above the Piano Bar, allowing sunlight to shine into the lounge below. The Tropical Bar is the heart of fun evenings, with drinks at sunset, dancing under the stars, and friendly music nights. For a calm night, enjoy a drink and soft music in the Piano Bar or a late snack. Below the waterline, the Captain Nemo Spa feels like an underwater cave, with mosaic tiles and windows looking out into the sea, perfect for a relaxing massage.
Dining
In the main dining room, breakfast and lunch are served buffet-style, with fresh omelets, seafood, and hot dishes like curries. Dinner is more formal but still relaxed, with open seating and excellent service. Every evening, chefs prepare meals with fresh fish, vegetarian options, and desserts like soufflés or flambés. Sometimes, meals are served outdoors on deck or even on a beach with a barbecue if the weather is good. There's no strict dress code—just enjoy the moment.
Excursions & Activities
Royal Clipper is all about enjoying the sea. A platform at the back of the ship opens up for various water activities, including kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and even wakeboarding. You can also join fun and educational events on board; learn to tie sailor knots, listen to talks about the stars, or visit the ship's bridge. For adventure seekers, there's a chance to climb the rigging (with a safety harness) to reach a lookout point high above the deck. On land, the ship visits small, beautiful places that big ships can't reach—perfect for swimming, relaxing, or walking through charming towns and UNESCO heritage sites.
Elegant Cabins
Every cabin on Royal Clipper has a classic and cozy feel, with wood panels, brass touches, and soft fabrics. Even the smallest rooms have twin portholes, lots of storage space, and marble bathrooms. For added space and luxury, select suites feature private balconies, whirlpool tubs, and even butler service. The two largest suites include a private living area and big windows with sea views—ideal for enjoying breakfast in your own room.
