Travel Tips for Croatia Cruises & FAQ

Unlike massive liners carrying thousands, our fleet ranges from intimate 40-guest vessels to boutique yachts for up to 250 guests. Regardless of size, we dock directly in historic ports like Trogir, Korčula, and Hvar, where big ships cannot go. You get closer to the destination, enjoy daily swim stops in hidden bays, and experience genuine local hospitality.

The sailing season runs from late April to October. For the best balance of warm weather and fewer crowds, we recommend May, June, September, and October. July and August are perfect if you love the heat and vibrant nightlife, but expect busier ports.

Most cruises operate on a Half-Board basis (breakfast and 3-course lunch daily). This allows you to explore local restaurants in Split, Dubrovnik, and the islands for dinner. Some itineraries include a Captain's Dinner or Welcome Dinner. We can accommodate special diets (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) if requested in advance.

The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Swimwear is perfect for the day, while smart-casual attire is suitable for evenings in town. There are no formal "black tie" nights, so you can pack light and enjoy a stress-free vacation.

Our cruises attract international travelers (UK, USA, Australia, EU) aged typically between 35 and 70. Traditional ships are popular with younger travelers and groups, while our Deluxe yachts cater to couples, seniors, and solo travelers seeking comfort and peace. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people.

Croatia is part of the Schengen Area. Visitors from the USA, Canada, UK, and Australia typically do not need a visa for stays up to 90 days. Please check the latest requirements for your specific nationality before booking.
