Connecting to your cruise from North America or Australia is seamless.
From the USA & Canada: US travelers can fly directly from New York (Newark - EWR) to both Split (SPU) and Dubrovnik (DBV), though schedules vary by season. We recommend checking with airlines for current direct flight availability. Alternatively, Canadian travelers can connect through major European hubs (such as London, Frankfurt, Munich, or Rome), which are frequent and straightforward.
From Australia: The most reliable routes connect through major Asian or Middle Eastern hubs (Singapore, Doha, Dubai), or via Qantas flights connecting in European cities like London, Frankfurt, or Rome.
Finding the right airport for your cruise: Depending on your cruise departure port, aim for the following airports:
- Split or Dubrovnik departures: Fly into Split (SPU) or Dubrovnik (DBV) airports.
- Zadar departures: Fly into Zadar (ZAD) or Split (SPU) airports.
- Opatija departures: The most convenient airports are Zagreb (ZAG), Pula (PUY), or Venice (VCE) in Italy.
- Venice departures: Fly directly into Venice Marco Polo (VCE) airport.
Because these are long-haul journeys and our small ship cruises depart from various ports along the Adriatic coast, we strongly advise arriving at least one or two days early. This gives you time to reach your specific departure port, adjust to the time zone, and relax before boarding.
